SEM’s CEO had the opportunity to meet Trudy Harrison, the new Minister for the Environment at the House of Lords on Tuesday November 15th 2022.

The Minister spoke at the 40th anniversary celebrations of Groundwork Trust UK. She praised the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund’s initiative as very successful in engaging people in the environment and in nature recovery efforts. Ms Harrison disclosed that the DEFRA and the Heritage Lottery Fund’s New Nature project will build on the success of the GRCF. SEM was one of the recipients of the GRCF and DEFRA is keen to use SEM’s successful project as one of its case studies.
